Teenager accused of killing 10 in racist supermarket attack
Payton Gendron, 18, has been charged with murder after 13 people were shot at a business in a predominantly Black neighborhood.
At a store in Buffalo, New York, a juvenile dressed in military garb opened fire with a weapon.
The 18-year-old was dressed in body armor and military-style gear, according to police.
According to the Associated Press, the shooting was streamed live for at least two minutes on the Twitch streaming site.
The attacker opened fire outside the store, killing three individuals. A security guard
a retired Buffalo police officer, fired bullets at the shooter inside the store, striking him.
The bullet, however, struck the gunman's protective vest and was rendered ineffective.
According to Buffalo police, 13 persons were shot in all. Eleven of the victims were black,
while two were white. According to officials, four of the victims were store employees.

The first lady and I are praying for the victims and their families, and the people of Buffalo have our hearts," he stated.
